LEXINGTON, N.C. (AP) - A second man wanted on murder charges in Lexington has turned himself in to police.

Police told local media that 25-year-old Jeramie Jamar Santiago of Lexington is charged with murder in the death of 24-year-old Christopher Eason of Thomasville.

Eason died April 14 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem after being found with injuries in a convenience store parking lot in Lexington two days earlier.

Twenty-three-year-old Quadarius Shaquille Kirkland of Lexington turned himself in to police several days after Eason died.

It was not clear if Santiago has an attorney. He’s being held in the Davidson County jail.
