BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Republican U.S. Sen. John Hoeven and GOP Gov. Jack Dalrymple say they are not endorsing a candidate for president, even though Donald Trump is now the party’s presumptive nominee.

Spokesmen for Hoeven and Dalrymple say the men will likely support whomever the GOP endorses at the party’s convention in Cleveland in July.

Dalrymple and his wife, Betsy, are among the state’s 28 national delegates.

Republican U.S. Rep. Kevin Cramer endorsed Trump at the state GOP convention last month in Fargo.

Trump has been tabbed as the keynote speaker for the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference that will be held later this month in Bismarck.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Heidi Heitkamp has said she supports Hillary Clinton for president.
