TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say they’ve made an arrest in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man at Santa Rita Park.

They say 34-year-old Phillip Lewis Jr. is alleged to have stabbed the victim during a physical altercation between the two men around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Lewis is being held in the Pima County Jail on suspicion of second-degree murder and an outstanding felony probation violation warrant.

Police say the name of the man killed is being withheld until his relatives can be notified.

They also say it wasn’t the first time the two men had been in a physical altercation.
