DETROIT (AP) - Condominium complexes made out of shipping containers are in the works in Detroit.

Three Squared CEO Leslie Horn told MLive.com (https://bit.ly/1TugEAw ) Tuesday that a model building in the North Corktown neighborhood is done. That building will be used as a model and for offices for the next two years.

Horn founded Three Squared with brother Patric. A ribbon-cutting was held at the building in July and they said at the time that it was 70 percent done.

The model building is the first phase, with plans for that to be followed up by a condo complex in Corktown and another complex in Woodbridge.

This story has been corrected to show the spelling is Patric, not Patrick.
