IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - An Idaho Falls woman has been sentenced to at least two years in prison for her role in the kidnapping of a man whose finger was chopped off with a hatchet during the incident.

Sara Oden was sentenced Wednesday to two to 15 years in prison. The 24-year-old had pleaded guilty to aggravated battery in the August 2015 kidnapping of Brandon Bykonen.

Court documents say three other co-defendants kidnapped Bykonen and took him to a remote field where Devin Crawford cut off one his fingers. Oden had driven to the scene and then took Crawford back to an apartment.

Oden apologized for her actions in court and said she needed help for her addiction.

The judge ordered her to complete substance abuse counseling before she could be eligible for parole.
