MACKS CREEK, Mo. (AP) - A medical examiner says a body found in southwest Missouri was that of a missing caretaker.

Camden County authorities said Thursday the decomposed body found April 25 on vacation property near Macks Creek was Gregory Webb, a caretaker for the remote location in southwest Camden County.

Webb was reported missing by the owner of a vacation property on April 20.

The medical examiner’s office has said the man was a homicide victim. An investigation into his death is continuing.

Detectives are also looking for several items missing from the crime scene, including a John Deere Model 400 lawn tractor, a black 4-by-8 carry-on trailer, several tools, electronics and sporting goods.
