WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) - A 19-year-old woman is dead and another woman injured after a group of friends walking down a street was targeted in a drive-by shooting in southwestern Pennsylvania.

The Washington County coroner says the dead woman is 19-year-old Alexis Barnett, of Washington, Pennsylvania.

Barnett and the injured woman - who was shot in the leg - were with others when someone reportedly fired shots from a vehicle that drove away. Police were still searching for the shooter.

The injured woman’s name hasn’t been released.

The shooting occurred about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday in Washington, a city about 20 miles southwest of Pittsburgh.
