GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) - Four officers killed in the line of duty in Colorado last year are now honored on the state law enforcement memorial in Golden.

The names of Jefferson County Sgt. Sean Renfro, state Troopers Taylor Thyfault (TEE’-foe) and Jaimie Jursevics (JAY’-me JUR’-zah-vicks), and University of Colorado Colorado Springs police officer Garret Swasey were added to the memorial at the Colorado State Patrol Academy during an outdoor ceremony Friday morning.

The families of the officers attended and were each presented with flags. A wreath was placed at the memorial and doves were released during the ceremony.
