NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Authorities are offering a $50,000 reward for information about what happened to a New Haven woman who disappeared more than a decade ago.

Lisa Calvo left 2-year-old twins behind when she disappeared mysteriously on Oct. 13, 2005. They are now 12 years old.

Calvo’s sister said at a news conference with police on Thursday that the 41-year-old Calvo was “always happy and always smiling and having fun.”

The New Haven Register (https://bit.ly/1NlB3Lx ) reports that Calvo’s brother said that she had a court date and he was scheduled to take her to rehab the day she disappeared.

Detective Sgt. David Zannelli says the reward is being offered to “to re-energize the investigation.”

Anyone with information about Calvo is asked to call police.
