BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A mother and son have pleaded guilty after police found 970 baggies of heroin in their Buffalo home.

Erie County prosecutors say 40-year-old Erika Brown and 23-year-old Erik Arias were arrested in February when police found the drugs after getting a warrant to search the home.

They pleaded guilty Friday to felony heroin possession and sale charges. Brown pleaded guilty to additional charges for twice selling heroin to an undercover officer. She faces up to 27 years in prison and her son could be sentenced to up to 12 years.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 15.
