NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Authorities have identified the person who was killed in a small plane crash at North Little Rock Municipal Airport.

North Little Rock Police say 56-year-old Doyle Reynolds of Jefferson died in the crash Thursday afternoon. Another person in the plane, 30-year-old Daniel Shure of Benton, Washington, was injured when the Cessna 310 crashed.

Police spokesman Sgt. Brian Dedrick says the plane crashed within a fenced area surrounding the airport Thursday afternoon and caught fire. Police told reporters at the scene that after the plane crashed it hit a fuel tank by the Central Arkansas Water facility.

Police say the plane had taken off from North Little Rock and came to a rest on a hillside, causing severe damage to a chain-link fence.

Federal agencies will investigate the crash.
