NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD is investigating the death of a man found unconscious and unresponsive between two subway cars.

Police say they responded to a 911 call of an unconscious man aboard a southbound F train in Brooklyn early Friday morning.

The 24-year-old victim was found with head trauma between two subway cars. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police withheld his name pending family notification.
