CORBIN, Ky. (AP) - Officials are seeking volunteers to help clean up around Cumberland Falls State Resort Park in southern Kentucky.

A statement from the Kentucky tourism cabinet says the park is looking for help during Cumberland Falls Beautification Day to pick up litter and trash left behind after spring rain and flooding along the Cumberland River.

The cleanup is being held on Saturday, May 21. Those who can help should wear appropriate clothing and meet at the visitor center at 9 a.m. to get garage bags.

The park, located in Corbin, offers recreational activities including hiking, rafting, fishing and horseback riding.
