OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Police in Ogden have arrested two young men in connection with the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man.

Officers responded to a home around 2:40 p.m. Friday and found the victim with several gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police say a SWAT team took two 18-year-old men into custody hours later at a nearby home.

Jeremy Moncada and Devin Smith were both booked on charges of possession of a firearm by a restricted person and obstruction of justice but Smith faces a felony criminal homicide count.

Investigators say both men have a documented history of gang activity and believed the victim was part of a rival gang.

Police are withholding the victim’s name pending family notification.
