GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The chairwoman of North Dakota’s Democratic party has graduated from law school.

Grand Forks Rep. Kylie Oversen was among more than 60 students who graduated from the University of North Dakota’s law school on Saturday.

North Dakota Democrats picked the 27-year-old Oversen as chairwoman last year.

Oversen says she plans to take the North Dakota bar exam next year.

The chairman of the North Dakota Republican party also is a lawyer. Dickinson state Sen. Kelly Armstrong also graduated from UND’s law school.
