GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - The president and chief executive officer of General Electric is addressing graduates at Clemson University.

Jeffrey R. Immelt delivers the commencement address and receives an honorary degree Saturday morning during ceremonies at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in downtown Greenville.

It’s the first of three commencement ceremonies that Clemson is holding. There are also afternoon and an evening ceremonies.

About 2,600 bachelor’s degrees are being awarded as are 550 master’s degrees and 85 doctoral degrees during the three ceremonies.
