NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A North Little Rock man convicted in the 2014 killing of another man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1Ye31ZW ) reports that 26-year-old Tyrun Jones was convicted of second-degree murder and using a firearm to commit murder before being sentenced on Friday. Jones was accused of fatally shooting 27-year-old Alex Booker on Dec. 24, 2014, at the Shorter College Gardens housing complex.

Jones has also been ordered to pay a $15,000 fine.
