LISBON, Portugal (AP) - Sporting Lisbon ensured the Portuguese league will be decided in the final round after taking the overnight lead from Benfica on Saturday.

Sporting’s 5-0 win at home over Setubal provisionally lifted it one point above defending champion Benfica.

Benfica will need to win at Maritimo on Sunday to recover the top spot heading into the last round next weekend.

Gelson Martins scored twice for Sporting, opening the scoring in the 25th minute before adding another after Teofilo Gutierrez doubled the lead before halftime.

Bryan Ruiz provided two more goals after Setubal’s Vasco Costa was sent off with a second booking with 20 minutes left.

Elsewhere, third-place FC Porto won at Rio Ave 3-1, while Academica was relegated following a 0-0 draw against fourth-place Braga.
