CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The Department of Veterans Affairs is holding a homecoming event for Lowcountry veterans.

The event Saturday at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center includes the presenting of pins to Vietnam War veterans and a motorcycle arrival by Vietnam vets. There’s also a health and resources fair so veterans can link up with agencies that offer services. The day is capped off by a concert by the group The Miracles.

The events get started at 3 p.m. with the concert set for 6:30 p.m.

The homecoming is sponsored by the Ralph Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston.
