OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A conference on international trade will be held in the Omaha area on Wednesday.

The Midwest International Trade Association will offer a chance to network with other professionals and learn from experts.

The association’s President Dave Brenneman says there will be sessions on import and export techniques and experiences, regulatory issues and global trade policies.

Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts will also present awards to the exporter and importer of the year.

The conference will be held at the Embassy Suites along Interstate 80 in La Vista.
