FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) - A man has died in a fire at a multi-family home in Fall River.

WCVB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1OiX60j) firefighters arrived at the three-story home on Covell Street at about 6 a.m. Sunday and saw flames shooting from the building.

The man was pulled from the burning home but died before arriving at the hospital. Fire officials believe the man died from smoke inhalation. They have not released his identity.

Officials say everyone else in the home got out safely.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
