STOUGHTON, Mass. (AP) - A 24-year-old man wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing outside of an apartment building has turned himself in to police.

Authorities say Keenan Brasfield surrendered to Stoughton police Sunday night.

Brasfield is accused of stabbing 36-year-old Erwins Albert on Friday. Albert was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Neighbors told police that the two men had been fighting about a car prior to the stabbing. Police say Brasfield fled the scene on foot. They later issued an arrest warrant for him.

Brasfield is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Stoughton District Court. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
