VERMONTVILLE, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say two young people ransacked classrooms, broke windows and discharged fire extinguishers at a high school in Eaton County.

The sheriff’s department says deputies found a door propped open Saturday evening at Maple Valley High School and damage throughout the building. The Lansing State Journal reports (https://on.lsj.com/1YhVSrB ) two juvenile suspects were identified using the school’s surveillance video.

The school is in Vermontville, about 25 miles southwest of Lansing.

The sheriff’s department says warrant requests are being reviewed. The cost of the damage wasn’t immediately determined.
