JACKSON, Mich. (AP) - A Jackson woman has been charged in the fatal shooting of a man at their home.

Daisha Cooper is accused of shooting Ben Johnson early Sunday and dragging the body to a car. Police say her three children were home at the time.

Deputy Chief Elmer Hitt says Cooper and Johnson, both 27, were living together and had been in a relationship for about two years.

The Jackson Citizen Patriot (https://bit.ly/1OcWBKv ) reports that Cooper will get a court-appointed attorney. She’s charged with murder. No bond was set.

The shooting remains under investigation.
