TULSA, Okla. (AP) - An Oklahoma junior college student school officials linked to a racist social media group has been suspended pending further investigation.

Tulsa Community College did not identify the student or specify any infractions in its Tuesday statement. However, the statement said the student was linked to “a social media group that posted racist messages identified by federal authorities to be potential criminal activity.”

The statement also said the infractions involved a violation of student conduct code provisions prohibiting “behavior that threatens the mental health or safety of students or could be perceived as threatening or bullying.”

The Tulsa World (https://bit.ly/2fXboKU ) reported the social media group had sent racist messages to black students at the University of Pennsylvania.
