STICKNEY, Ill. (AP) - Two men and a woman are being questioned after the fatal stabbing of a man near horse stables at a racetrack southwest of Chicago.

Police on Thursday say the stabbing at the Hawthorne Race Course in Stickney came during a fight Wednesday evening between two men.

A racetrack spokesman says the men involved in the fight didn’t work directly for Hawthorne. The fight occurred in the race course’s back stretch where the stable hands’ quarters are located.

A motive for the stabbing has not been determined. No charges had been filed as of Thursday morning.

The victim died of multiple stab wounds.
