CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Dozens of broken colored lightbulbs are strewn across the sidewalk in front of the New Hampshire Statehouse after being ripped out of the capital city’s downtown Christmas tree.

Yellow, orange and blue lights have been pulled off several strings near the bottom of the large tree. The Concord Monitor reports (https://bit.ly/2g275hI) the Concord Police Department is investigating the incident as vandalism.

The Christmas tree was put up earlier this week and most of the lights on the tree remain intact.
