OXFORD, Ohio (AP) - Josh Robinson scored 31 points and John Murry put in 10 of Austin Peay’s final 16 in the last three minutes in a 77-69 victory over Northern Kentucky on Friday in the Tarkett Sports Classic.

Murry’s layup cut the Governors’ deficit to 66-65 and his two free throws with 2:22 remaining put them up for good. He added six more free throws, Kenny Jones a tip-in and Steve Harris two more free throws down the stretch.

Robinson was 11 of 16 from the floor, including 6 of 9 from 3-point range while Murray finished with 19 points for the Governors (2-1), who trailed by 16 points with 12 minutes left. Jones added 13 points and 11 rebounds. After shooting 38.6 percent in the first half, Austin Peay shot 57.7 percent in the second half.

Drew McDonald had 21 points and 12 rebounds for the Norse (1-2) with Carson Williams adding 13 points.
