BOSTON (AP) - A Boston man has pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges in a summer shooting that killed a man in the same neighborhood where his sister was slain six years ago.

Twenty-four-year-old Julian Troche was ordered held without bail Thursday in the June shooting that killed 31-year-old Andrew Flonory and injured his brother, Dwayne.

Prosecutors allege Troche opened fire on the brothers as they were headed to a house party in Mattapan.

Family members have said Andrew Flonory was the brother of 21-year-old Eyanna Flonory, one of five people shot in the same neighborhood in September 2010. The shooting also left Eyanna Florony’s 2-year-old son dead.

Andrew Florony died less than a mile from where his sister was killed.

Troche’s lawyer says his client “adamantly denies” shooting the brothers.
