GREENFIELD, N.H. (AP) - Officials say the elementary school in Greenfield, New Hampshire, has been closed after a staff member received a threat.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2fotKDl) school officials told police about the threat, which was directed at the staff member before his or her arrival at school Friday. School officials decided to dismiss students for the day at Greenfield Elementary School as a precaution.

Parents received an alert from the school about the situation.

A meeting is scheduled for Monday at the school to discuss the incident.
