TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A 64-year-old man who went missing early this week while hiking on Mount Lemon has been found with just minor injuries.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says Ron Hutter was spotted by a motorist Thursday evening driving around General Hitchcock Highway near Palisades.

The department says Hutter was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Hutter had been last seen by friends in Tucson on Monday.

He told authorities that he intended to go on a short hike but became lost.

The department didn’t provide details of Hutter’s ordeal, saying only that he survived for three days and made fires at night.
