FARMVILLE, Va. (AP) - Khris Lane scored a career-high 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Longwood to an 87-74 victory over Division II Salem International and its first win of the season on Friday night.

Darrion Allen was 4 of 8 from long range for 16 points and Isaiah Walton added 14 points, dished out seven assists and had three steals for Longwood (1-2).

The Lancers, who jumped out to a 30-6 lead midway in the first half, were up 45-36 at the break. They stretched that to 64-49 with 10:09 remaining. Salem International pulled to 82-70 in the final minute but could not catch the Lancers.

Saquan Epps was 6 of 8 from the floor for 18 points for Salem International. Jarius Farrow scored 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting, and Victor Blakey chipped in 14 points.
