FONTANA, Calif. (AP) - A Fontana man has been accused of shooting his girlfriend during an argument, fleeing to Los Angeles and then shooting himself twice in front of a police station.

The San Bernardino Sun reports (https://bit.ly/2fo6epO ) that the 25-year-old man is listed as in critical condition at a Los Angeles hospital after Thursday’s shooting.

Police say the man and his 22-year-old girlfriend were fighting in a Fontana home when the man shot the woman and fled.

The woman was taken to the hospital and is listed as in critical condition.

While officers were investigating the woman’s shooting the found the man had carjacked someone nearby and fled to the Los Angeles area where he then shot himself in front of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division Station.
