COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Police have identified a man whose death at a Columbia motel has been ruled a homicide.

Police said Saturday in a release that 54-year-old Gregory J. Moore was found dead Thursday night in a Columbia motel room. Police said he died from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police told The Columbia Daily Tribune (https://j.mp/2g8G38j) that Moore was a long-term motel resident.

Police are asking anyone with information to call authorities.
