WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) - Police in Wilmington are investigating a rash of robberies in which restaurant delivery drivers have been held up at gunpoint.

The StarNews of Wilmington reports (https://bit.ly/2fbmxZp) four such robberies have occurred this month, the latest late Wednesday when a female driver for a sandwich shop was held up by another woman in a parking lot.

A man with a gun robbed a male pizza delivery truck the same day while on Tuesday a woman with a handgun held up a driver who was delivering food from an Asian restaurant. Last week another pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint.

Police did not say if they think the robberies are related.
