NEW YORK (AP) - Joseph Chartouny scored 14 points, Javontae Hawkins added 11 and Fordham beat Saint Peter’s 63-41 on Saturday night in the Johnny Bach Classic.

Chartouny also had four steals as Fordham forced 26 turnovers.

The Rams had a 33-20 lead at halftime and started the second half on an 8-0 run - with six combined points from Chartouny and Hawkins - for a 41-20 lead. Fordham built a 33-point lead after Prokop Slanina hit a 3-pointer with 9:20 left.

Christian Sengfelder and Antwoine Anderson scored eight points each for Fordham (3-1). The Rams made 8 of 25 3-pointers but were held to 40 percent shooting overall.

Quadir Welton led Saint Peter’s (1-2) with 10 points and four blocks. The Peacocks were 2 of 16 from 3-point range and made just 35 percent from the field.
