MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Tynice Martin scored 19 points and Katrina Pardee added 17 to lead No. 21 West Virginia to a 69-39 win over Coppin State on Saturday.

The Mountaineers (3-0) were never threatened, opening a 33-13 halftime advantage.

West Virginia increased its school record against nonconference opponents at home to 27, dating three seasons. Coach Mike Carey picked up his 325th win in 16 years with the Mountaineers and 613th overall in 29 seasons.

Lanay Montgomery blocked seven shots in her 100th career game and has a block in 27 straight games and 39 out of 40. She has 241 blocks, third in school history.

Keena Samuels had 18 points for Coppin State (0-4), which shot 15 percent (4 of 26) in the first half and 23 percent for the game.

Pardee hit two 3-pointers as West Virginia scored the first 10 points of the game and added a 13-0 run in the second quarter.
