NEWTON, Kan. (AP) - Cullen Grabast threw two touchdown passes in the first half, ran for two touchdowns in the second half and led Osborne to a 38-24 victory over St. Francis in the eight-man Division I state title game.

Grabast finished with 190 yards rushing for the Bulldogs (13-0), who were the North Plains League champions before winning their second state championship in the past four years.

Quinton Cravens had two touchdowns through the air and on the ground for St. Francis, which led 24-22 before Grabast’s late touchdown runs turned the game around.

The Indians (11-1) were playing for their first state championship.
