PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Dulani Robinson drilled a deep, pull-up 3-pointer at the buzzer and Texas Southern came back to stun La Salle 77-76 on Saturday.

Two Pookie Powell free throws gave the Explorers (1-2) a 76-73 lead with eight seconds left. On the ensuing possession, Powell fouled Kevin Scott to prevent the Tigers from attempting a game-tying 3. Scott made 1 of 2 to cut it to 76-74.

Texas Southern then fouled La Salle’s Demetrious Henry, who had a chance to ice it. But Henry missed the front end of a one-and-one, giving the Tigers (3-1) a final shot which Robinson cashed in.

Robinson, a transfer from Pacific, led the Tigers with 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Derrick Griffin added 16 points and eight boards, and Marvin Jones and Zach Lofton each had 13 for Texas Southern.

B.J. Johnson led all scorers with 24 for La Salle.
