TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a 38-year-old man is dead after being stabbed during a confrontation at a downtown bus station.

Police say officers responding early Saturday morning to a report of an injured man found Joseph Robert Lundberg near a bench at the Ronstadt Transit Center and that he died at the scene during medical treatment.

According to police, homicide detectives determined that Lundburg and an unidentified male were in a fight late Friday night and that the other person then ran away.

No suspect description was released. Police say they’d like to hear from anyone with information about the incident.
