MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Vermonters could be seeing their first significant snow of the season.

After a warm sunny day on Saturday, a winter storm watch is in effect for Sunday and into Monday for central and northern Vermont.

The forecast calls for 4 to 8 inches of snow with higher amounts in the mountains.

The National Weather Service says rain on Sunday is expected to change to snow and continue through Monday.
