OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - The Salvation Army will sponsor its 25th TurkeyFest this year at The Salvation Army Kroc Center in southeast Omaha.

The city-wide feeding effort provides a complimentary Thanksgiving dinner to those who would otherwise have none. Hundreds of volunteers will deliver turkey dinners to about 1,200 homebound elderly people and others in need in the metropolitan area.

TurkeyFest deliveries begin around 9:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day when volunteers arrive at the Kroc Center to pick up meals to be delivered.

Recipients will enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal of turkey, potatoes, stuffing, gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, dinner roll, fruit and cookies.
