DUXBURY, Mass. (AP) - Federal workplace safety officials are investigating the death of a construction worker in Duxbury who was using a power saw when it kicked back and hit him in the throat.

The accident on Saturday afternoon killed a 28-year-old man who was excavating an underground water line in a trench. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The man’s name hasn’t been released.

The accident is being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Duxbury police.
