Actor and comedian Tim Allen said Monday that Hollywood liberals are “hypocritical” for bullying people who support President-elect Donald Trump.

“What I find odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully,” the “Last Man Standing” told Fox News host Megyn Kelly. “But if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And that’s where this — it gets a little hypocritical to me, is that you can now bully people.”

Mr. Allen, 63, said he considers himself to be an “anarchist,” so it wasn’t that difficult for him to reveal in January that he was open to a Trump presidency.

“As a comedian, I don’t want anyone to tell me what to do. Period,” he said Monday.

But he’s still not in the mood to defend Mr. Trump, whom he described as a “new talent comedian.”

“These are guys that have great material that have very bad comedy timing. And he’s got terrible timing,” he said. “He may in fact be a guy who wants to be funnier than he is.”

Mr. Allen told Fox News in January that he “can be really either left leaning or very very right leaning,” but always ends up “center right.”
