ROCKWELL, Iowa (AP) - Investigators say one person has been killed and two others injured in a three-vehicle crash in northern Iowa.

The Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2fCqy9M ) that the crash happed around 7:30 p.m. Friday on Highway 65 between Rockwell and Mason City. The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office says a northbound pickup crossed the center line, hitting a southbound car head-on. The third car also traveling south hit debris from the wreckage, causing it to spin out of control.

Investigators say one driver was killed in the crash, but did not say which. The two other drivers were taken to hospitals for treatment.

The names of those involved had not been released Saturday afternoon.
