BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) - A 34-year-old man has died after a sport-utility vehicle collided with his motorcycle in Bristol.

Police say the accident happened Sunday morning on Route 6 when a 20-year-old woman driving the SUV turned in front of the motorcycle. Authorities say the man died at the scene as a medical helicopter was en route.

Officials identified the motorcycle driver as Corey Cuvelier, of Bristol, and the SUV driver as Crystaly Acevedo, of Southington.

Police say Cuvelier was not wearing a helmet, and drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident. Authorities say Acevedo apparently did not see the motorcycle.

The crash remains under investigation.

Part of Route 6 was closed for several hours.
