BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - State police say a six-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike did not cause any serious injuries.

But the cause of the accident remains under investigation.

The crash occurred shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes near milepost 54.5 in Bordentown Township.

Four people were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries and were later released. But further details on their injuries were not disclosed.

Authorities initially closed all the southbound lanes between exits 7 and 7A while the crash was being investigated. But all the lanes were eventually reopened by 8 a.m.
