LYNDON, Vt. (AP) - Officials at the Vermont State Colleges Board of Trustees are expected to decide on a name for the soon-to-be merged Johnson State College and Lyndon State College.

The board in September approved a plan to merge the colleges under one administration, which will take effect on July 1.

The board is expected to decide on a new name on Nov. 30.

The unified school will have its first incoming students in the fall of 2018.
