PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Cleon Roberts scored 22 points and grabbed five rebounds and Jordan Price finished with 20 points to lead La Salle past Drexel 89-78 on Sunday in a game it never trailed.

Kari Jonsson’s 3 brought Drexel to within 11-10 before Price responded with a 3 and the Explorers outscored Drexel 22-6 in an eight-minute span. Tony Washington’s jumper with 7:09 left before halftime gave La Salle a 36-16 lead.

La Salle (2-4) led 44-27 at the break.

Roberts’ 3 with 12:27 to go put the Explorers up 68-45 before the Dragons ran off 12 straight with Lee hitting two 3s and a pair of free throws. Jordan Price then countered with a 3 and followed with a 3-point play off a layup to extend the lead to 74-57.

La Salle leads the all-time series 22-5. Drexel (2-2) won last season’s meeting with a 66-53 victory, snapping the Explorer’s six-game win streak.
