SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - The National Weather Service says a winter storm warning will be in effect until Tuesday morning.

The warning applies to the Wasatch Mountains, the Western Uinta Mountains, Book Cliffs and Wasatch Plateau, along with the central and southern mountains of Utah.

The NWS expects 18 to 30 inches of snow or more along the northern part of the state.

The service also expects a stronger storm to arrive Monday through Monday night.

Drivers should expect poor conditions, especially on Monday into early Tuesday morning.
